Quoddy Maliseet Oxfords

We've been waiting awhile for these ones and I am glad to say it was well worth it.  The 4501 or Maliseet Oxford is a style that Quoddy produced a lot during the 1960's.  They have thankfully reintroduced it to their collection.  The same Quoddy craftsmanship goes into each pair of handsewn oxfords.  The added detail of the machine stitched collar is a nice touch.  A classic looking four eyelet oxford that is extremely versatile and can complement a number of different styles. We have these available in 3 colors.  First, a pebble grain chromexcel with charcoal camp sole.  Second, peanut grizzly leather with a charcoal camp sole. Last, navy chromexcel with a red brick camp sole.  The dark brown pebble grain chromexcel is not a leather that Quoddy typically carries, so that lot will be a limited, one time only run.

i paid W-P a visit with plans of possibly picking up the dark brown. i was surprised to find that the ‘peanut grizzly’ leather looks 10 times better in person than it does in photos. now i can’t decide which i prefer.

FYI i found the sizing true but bordering on slightly larger. when i get a pair i plan to stick with my usual size, but it’s possible others might decide to take it down a half notch.
