Alden Desert Tracker Boot

For as long as I have known the Alden line, the flex welt chukka has been one my favorite models.  While my love for this boot has not waned, I have found myself longing for a chukka style that was a bit more familiar to me.  Hence, the addition of the plantation crepe sole.

The history of the desert boot is long and distinguished and I am sure many of you have heard the story before, so I will not bore you with trifle.  As you can see below this model is Alden's classic two eyelet chukka boot in tan suede.  We added in the crepe sole and brass eyelets for a more casual feeling boot that will be nicely balanced with a pair of khakis or jeans.

Those look mighty nice. I agree, I don’t entirely get the concept of a leather soled chukka.
