ALDEN 40716H DOUBLE WATERLOCK CAPTOE BOOT

Inspired by another pair of British bench made boots, our second version of the Alden Double Waterlock Captoe Boot this season comes in a rich brown pebble grain calf. Other distinguishing details from the earlier version are a regular all around welt and the addition of a heel pull tab, which really makes the diamond cut back stay stand out from Alden’s traditional square top back stay.

Brown metal eyelets with speed hooks, light antique finish on the edge of sole and welt and Alden’s new old stock hard rubber “Starburst” heels also set this boot apart and add an another level of traction and comfort. Of course it wouldn’t be a Winn Perry boot without a little weather resistance and the signature Double Waterlock oiled leather sole pairs with the rest of the boot handsomely and increases the lifespan of your leather sole on wet surfaces.

Made to Alden New England standards, these boots feature full leather linings, natural cork insole, full heel counters and steel shank through the arch for lasting comfort and support.

Fit tip: The Barrie last fits one half size large compared to standard US sizing. Take your measure foot size and go down one half size. Stock is only available in D widths. For fit questions, please contact us: sales@winnperry.com.
